Our Church’s Mission Establishments

Becoming a Christian

A

ADMIT

Admit that you have sinned and repent by asking forgiveness.

Everyone is a sinner. The only person that never sinned was Jesus himself. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” You must be sorry for your sins and turn away from sinning. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

B

BELIEVE

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. You must believe that Jesus is God’s Son and that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sin.

He paid for your sins through his death on the cross, and rose again that you might have life. Romans 5:8 says, “God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” In John 14 verse 6 Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

C

CONFESS

Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and commit your life to him.

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”(Romans 10:9)”Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Repentance is defined as a “desire to amend.” In other words God gives us an opportunity to start anew and be transformed into the man or woman God desires us to be. Living a new life as a Christian does not mean you will have a life without trials. We still live in a fallen, sinful world. However, we now have hope in Jesus Christ.

Striving to Help you Connect to Jesus

Serving the Kingdom and Others

The Bible teaches that we were created to serve God and one another. We have many opportunities to serve at Kingdom Baptist Church by volunteering in various ministry teams. Your journey and growth will move to the next level as you engage in serving as Christ served. Through serving we glorify God, build up the church body and reach out to others. We want to help you to be fruitful and fulfilled in a meaningful place of service. Our desire is that every Christian at KBC engage in the work of Christ according to the gifts and passions given them by the Holy Spirit.

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” – I Peter 4:10

“…to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…” – Ephesians 4:12
